Amica, I have been using and giving as gifts LRI LED flashlights since
the mid 1990s. In fact I still have and use the original Micro-Light. Until
recently the only care any needed was a fresh battery. The durability, long
battery life, and innovative features have kept me a LRI brand conscious
consumer. Now I have another reason to remain a loyal customer. My Proton Pro
quickly became the flashlight that was always in my pocket. It developed a
problem with the switch, so I called to get warranty instructions. Very simple

All of our lights have replaceable batteries (except the ReX Rechargeable).
When sending in your product for warranty repair or replacement please:
1) Send it in a padded envelope or small box
2) Make sure to give us your return address.
3) Enclose a short note explaining the problem or reason you sent it in.
4) It is very helpful if you provide a phone number or email address in case we need to contact you regarding your warranty repair or replacement.
For Photon Freedom, Rex, X-light Micro, Freedom Fusion and Proton Pro: If your light turns off after 6 seconds it is still in demonstration mode. Simply press and hold down the button until your light shuts off (about 20 seconds) this will give you full
functionality of your flashlight.
(Demonstration mode is designed to turn the light off after 6 seconds so that people can test the product in-store while ensuring that the batteries stay fresh.)
For Photon Freedom, X-light Micro, Freedom Fusion and Proton Pro: If your light will only work as a squeeze light it is in Morse Code Mode. To go back to regular on/off mode, simply press and hold down the button until it shuts off.
When you turn your light back on it will stay on.
If water gets inside your Photon brand flashlight simply remove the battery/batteries and let your light dry out before putting it back together. (Applies to all Photon brand flashlights except ReX which is completely sealed).
Infrared light is invisible to the human eye. Infrared flashlights are meant to be used with Night vision equipment. See the Special Purpose Page for more information.
S.O.S. Mode quick access: S.O.S. can be accessed as the first choice with these steps. Press and hold down the button, once the light blinks at full brightness quickly release at the very first beacon flash.
