I use my Fusion for K9 Search and Rescue and it really works
well, giving enough light to allow me to walk in the woods at night,
read my map and GPS.

I would just like to commend you guys on your great product. I
am a Junior Firefighter and I bought a blue Photon II, it has lasted
over a year or so and it is still as bright as ever. Even after
being in water conditions, smoke and much more, I have dropped it so
many times, thrown it around and beaten it up and it is practically
as good as new. I just received a Photon 3 for the holidays from a
friend and it is even better (feature wise), I use it all the time
in fire conditions and smoke and water, it is great for signaling
for attention even in thick smoke and fire. I love to use it to
impress the guys at the firehouse. I hope to soon get myself the
fusion for my helmet and maybe another color Photon 3.

Thank you so much for the 20 Photons. The Christian Medical
Response Team provides medical coverage for mass crowd events. We
have used other lights in such settings to signal and communicate
between our teams but we have found the Photon to be superior. It
comes down to basics: the bulb is brighter, the battery lasts
longer, it is more durable and the ring allows us to attach it to
our lanyards. The light is perfect for our needs.

As a Probation Supervisor in a Juvenile Detention facility in
Maricopa County, Arizona I have found the Photon to be very useful
and practical. The micro-light is so compact and well made it
becomes a useful tool rather than another “gadget”. My staff
provides supervision for approximately 200 detainees. At night I
have frequently used the Micro-Light to spot-check sleeping
detainees. I had carried a high-intensity flashlight that I would
shine through detention cells door windows when doing security
checks, which could more often than not awaken the juvenile. I now
use your Micro-Light, which illuminates the bed, which is about six
feet from the door’s window without waking the sleeping juvenile.

The City of Bellaire Police Department employs me, one of my
jobs is to locate and obtain equipment for our Search Warrant Entry
Team. This is a select group of officers used to execute high-risk
search and arrest warrants. The Photons have many useful

the front of a tactical vest worn during high-risk operations. It

I’m happy to report that your flashlight passed the acid test.
Recently I was at my families ranch in the Midwest when a tornado
hit the place. It arrived rather unexpectedly about 10:30 pm and
knocked out all the power. My friend’s 7-year-old son was outside in
the tent when the storm hit and thankfully I had your light with me
because we were able to run straight to the tent and extricate him
without wasting time looking for a light. Moments after we had
rescued him the winds flattened the tent and blew it away. The
tornado spared the house, but it utterly destroyed the barn and
corral. It also picked up several 900 lbs. hay bales and carried
them over to the Neighbors.

I am a correction officer and I cannot tell you how often I use
my white Photon light for close inspections during cell searches,
cleaning weapons etc. It is so small it isn’t even noticeable on my
key ring until I need it. I still have my big light on my duty belt
at night, but getting that, extra couple pounds off my belt during
the day, makes a big difference over a 12-hour shift! Most of my
department carries one of your lights. Keep up the great work!

I am a cadet firefighter from the Midwest. At my department we
use the red and blue Photon II’s. We use the lights as a signal and
a backup light. The police department in my town also uses them as a
signal light. I myself carry a Photon II with me everywhere I go, it
is like a mini compact light in your pocket. I used to carry a big
flashlight until I found my blue Photon II; it comes in handy a lot.

My name is John Williams. I am a Beaverton City police cadet and
I use my Photon II all the time on the job. I recently was at a
state competition and got a lot of comments concerning my light. I
was doing a mock building search with my big hand held flashlight,
half way through the test we had to turn it off and pretend it
broke. Part of the test was getting out of the building with out our
flashlight, in the shortest time. But it was not written in the
rules that we couldn’t use our personal lights (which most people do
not have). With the help of my Photon II, I was able to set a new
time record for my cadet unit. Every member in my cadet unit has a
Photon II now and they carry them all the time.

I must say that I was very impressed by your letter and your
company’s willingness to replace my damaged Photon 3 even though
when you received my letter my light was missing. This level of
customer service is uncommon these days and will keep people like
me, buying your products in the future.
My light, a white Photon Micro-Light 3 Has served me well. I am a
senior patrolman in the Victoria Police Dept. in Victoria Texas and
have carried my light on my key ring for approximately a year.
Several months ago I was involved in a foot pursuit in a wooded
area, after a suspect fled his vehicle during a traffic stop. The
flashlight I was carrying had become dim and then the batteries went
dead. I turned my Photon on the continuous mode and continued my
search. With the aid of my Photon I located the suspect underneath
the staircase of a nearby warehouse.
I was very surprised when I discovered that the LED bulb had
cracked. Several Other officers on my shift carry Photon
Micro-Lights and we frequently use them for signaling each other
during nighttime operations and building searches. Your product had
proven to be3 an important piece of equipment in my patrol duties.

Let me first say that in my opinion your Micro-Lights are the
best on the market today. I have had several lights starting with
the first generation series. I use my lights on a daily basis on the
job and off. I have recommended your lights to every guy at he
station house. They used to laugh when I pulled out my Photon light
but by now they know how incredibly bright the tiny thing is in a
dark place. There is no way to compare the difference between a
Photon and a battle lantern used in search and rescue, but when your
in the dark and with out a big light the little Photon can cut right
trough the black of any situation. I always have a Photon
Micro-Light on me and I have made sure that all my family members
have one as well. They make great gifts and the best thing is you
don’t even know you are carrying it until you need it.

One
night flying back to the Charleston WV airport. It was an unplanned
flight and the only flashlight I had was my Photon. The light for
the Artificial Horizon gyro went out and I was able to use my Photon
to make sure that I was level, which allowed me to safely land.

recently purchased the Photon II. Aside from general use, as a pilot
I thought that it would be a good item to carry, just in case. The
other night I had the unfortunate experience of having to make use
of your light unexpectedly. My partner and I had gone flying. We
weren’t going anywhere in particular, just out for a ride. As it
was, although unintentional, we found ourselves flying back to the
airport after dark. About ten minutes from the field we had an
unexpected and total electrical failure. Using your light to
illuminate the panel, we were better able to handle the situation
and make a safe approach and landing.

I am
very I impressed with your Photon Micro-Lights I own several
versions (I, II and 3) and have given away several to friends. I
even managed to upstage some of the staff at nearby Stennis Space
Flight Center, when they showed me some off-brand LED flashlights,
and I countered with a demonstration of the white Photon II that I
carry on my key ring. The Photon II was superior in light output,
and was much smaller. They were also chagrined to hear that the
astronauts carried your product, while NASA staffers were content
with lesser products.
